The French international's contract with PSG expires at the end of the current season, and he has the right to sign for any club for free starting next January.
Despite what some Spanish reports said that Real Madrid has given up on signing Mbappe, it remains the closest destination for the 24-year-old.
The Spanish program stated that Mbappe, in recent days, bought a new house in the Spanish capital, Madrid, in preparation for joining the Royal Club in the summer of 2024.
According to reports, a former Real Madrid player was the one who sold the house to Mbappe, but the program declined to mention his name.
It is noteworthy that Paris Saint-Germain would like to renew Mbappe’s contract, but believes that there is no way to give him more money, meaning that the player must accept an extension for an additional year with the same current salary according to the clause already in his contract valid until 2024.
The Spanish press had revealed that Mbappe, if he moves to Real Madrid, will receive 35 million euros annually, which is three times higher than the salary of any of the players in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad currently.
