The Telegraph newspaper reported that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez decided to stay away from negotiations with Kylian Mbappe due to a deep difference in views between him and the Paris Saint-Germain star's agent and his mother, Fayza Lamari.
In general, the relationship between the royal president and Mbappe’s mother is not well as a result of what happened in 2022 after the sudden decision at the time to renew the player’s contract with PSG.
Because of these differences, Perez chose to stay away from negotiating with Lamri, and assigned this task to Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez.
Sanchez usually leads the negotiations in regular deals for Real Madrid, but when talking about including major players like Mbappe and before that Ronaldo, Kaka and others, Perez always intervenes himself to resolve matters.
But due to his differences with Mbappé’s mother on the one hand, and the special relationship between Sanchez and Lamari, the decision came to transfer the signing file with the French international to the executive director.
This unusual step is seen as a great way to bring points of view closer together, and bring Mbappé closer to Real Madrid given Sanchez's ability to get along with his mother.
It is noteworthy that the Spanish press confirms that the Mbappe and Real Madrid file is supposed to end completely this January.
