A vague statement from Mbappe about his future: I have an agreement with Al-Khelaifi

Updated: Jan 4

Mbappe's expression as he shoots a goal

Kylian Mbappe has raised more uncertainty about his future, after he said he has an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that protects all parties.

Mbappe led his team to achieve the French Super Cup title following a 2-0 victory over Toulouse, after he scored a goal and was the first star of the match.

After the match, as is usual, Mbappe was asked about his future, and he replied, "I have not made my decision yet. I have not made a choice yet. No one inside the club is talking about my situation."

He also added, "We have an agreement with the president, which means that all parties are protected. We now have to think only about our team."

It is not understood exactly what Mbappe meant about the agreement with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, although some say that the player intended the loyalty condition that would guarantee him millions of earnings and the possibility of him relinquishing it in the event of his departure, which would benefit Paris.

Mbappe may also have meant that in the end he might stay with Paris Saint-Germain, leaving all parties “protected” as he described.

In the end, Mbappe's case will remain pending until next summer, as all sources confirm, and the player will not decide his fate in January, no matter the cost.
