After Vinicius. Real Madrid close to renewing another star's contract

Real Madrid continue to secure their stars, and the role of another Brazilian star, Rodrygo, after reaching an agreement with him to extend his contract for another five years.

Real Madrid announced on Tuesday that Vinicius Jr.'s contract would be valid until 2027 with the inclusion of a clause worth one billion euros to protect him from the interest of other clubs.

According to "Fabrizio Romano", Real Madrid agreed with Rodrygo to renew his contract until 2028, provided that his contract includes a similar penalty clause for his compatriot worth one billion euros.

The move comes in light of Florentino Pérez's management's belief that Rodrygo plays a pivotal role for the team and is the future of the club in the coming years, so it was necessary to ensure its long-term continuation in the Spanish capital.

The 22-year-old's contract renewal is due to be announced on Thursday.

The Brazil international joined Real Madrid from Santos for €45 million, and so far he has made 179 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals and assisting 33, in addition to achieving many achievements such as the Champions League, La Liga and others.
