Despite Carlo Ancelotti's assurances that Arda Güler’s new injury will not keep him out for long, the newspaper "AS" revealed the Turkish star's seemingly long absence from Real Madrid.
Since joining Real Madrid Güler failed to play even once due to injury, after being injured twice in a row, then returning to the bench in r Rayo Vallecano and Sporting Braga games, but then he relapsed for the third time and suffered a new injury.
According to AS, Güler's injury is a quadriceps injury to the right leg, which is different from the one he suffered in the rectus femoral muscle.
On this basis, Güler is expected to be absent for a month, meaning that he will not return before the start of the second round of the Spanish league, and his hope will be to catch the Spanish Super Cup scheduled for next January in Saudi Arabia.
Ancelotti had confirmed that Güler was suffering from "depression" due to these injuries, but stressed that the future of the player, for whom he paid 20 million euros last summer, is completely safe despite the injuries, and that he is of great importance to Real Madrid.
