Al Nassr achieved a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Qatar's Al Duhail at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, in the fourth round of the 2023 AFC Champions League groups.
Cristiano Ronaldo missed the game due to fatigue under the pressure of the matches, but this did not affect the yellow club, who arrived and toured Qatar and returned with a very important victory.
Although Al Duhail took the lead through Philippe Coutinho, Anderson Talisca was able to score a hat-trick and lead Al Nasr to a victory that will comfort them two rounds before the end of the group stage.
The victory raised the balance of coach Luis Castro's men to 12 points, to become the second official qualifier to the round of 16 after Al Ain.
It remains to be noted that there are 5 West Asian groups, from which the first place finishers qualify, along with the top 3 teams that finished second.
The round of 16 matches will be determined through a separate draw, to be held after the end of the round at the end of next December.
