Alaba answers: Will he leave Real Madrid and return to Bayern Munich?

Austrian David Alaba, Real Madrid player

David Alaba, the Real Madrid player, denied reports that he might leave the Royal Club and return again to his former club, Bayern Munich.

The Bavarian club has recently been searching for a new defender, and German newspapers put forward Alaba's name as a possible option, after his level with Real Madrid declined and he lost his starting position.

But at the press conference for the friendly match between Germany and Austria, the 31-year-old answered a question about his return to the Allianz Arena by saying, “I am not thinking about that at all. I feel very comfortable in Madrid.”

The Austrian international continued, "I love Real Madrid and my goals are always clear. I am not thinking about anywhere else."

Alaba joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after the end of his contract with Bayern Munich in the summer of 2021, and since then he has played 97 matches in the Merengue shirt, including 12 matches this season.

Alaba is one of the sons of the Bayern Munich academy, and he spent 12 years with the Bavarian club, during which he achieved all possible titles and played 431 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored 33 goals and made 44 others.
