Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced that Arda Guler will participate for the first time in the Royal Club shirt when facing Arandina in the round of 32 of the Spanish King's Cup.
The Turkish international has not succeeded in participating in any matches so far since joining last summer, after suffering 3 major injuries.
18-year-old Guler finally recovered at the beginning of 2024, and was on the bench in Real Mallorca's last match in the Spanish League.
Ancelotti was criticized for not participating in the Mallorca match, but he responded by asking everyone to be patient and stressing his belief in the player's potential.
At the press conference for the Arandina match, Ancelotti confirmed that it was time for Guler to participate.
The Italian said, "Guler is completely ready for the match. His feelings are good and much better. He is performing well and we have an option to participate tomorrow."
