Ancelotti reveals details of Bellingham's new injury

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti denied what the Spanish newspapers reported about a serious new injury to Jude Bellingham, and confirmed that the English international is ready to participate in the Granada match on Saturday.

Bellingham left Real Madrid's training on Friday evening after a few minutes, and the newspaper "Sport" indicated that he suffered an ankle injury and his absence from the field could extend for weeks.

But in the press conference for the Granada match, Ancelotti responded to these allegations by saying, “Bellingham does not suffer from an injury. It is just pain, so we preferred to rest him. He is ready and will participate in the Granada match.”

He also added, "It was just ankle pain, but as I said, he will play normally tomorrow."

When asked about the possibility of Real Madrid concluding new deals in the winter to compensate for the injured, he replied, “No, the club has drawn up the current team list in the summer and we will continue with it. Everything is going well.”

The Italian touched on the conversation about Endric, the Real Madrid player who is spending his last months with Palmeiras. “We are following him and are happy with what he is doing and we notice how quickly he is developing. We are excited about him joining us next season.”

At the end of his speech, Ancelotti was asked about Toni Kroos and whether he would continue beyond 2024, and he responded by saying, "He is the one who will determine his own fate. He knows that we love him. He performs well with us and also feels comfortable and always maintains his level."

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid leads the Spanish League standings before facing Granada, equal with Girona with the advantage of goals, and Bellingham remains the top scorer for the Merengues, having scored 15 goals in 16 matches in all tournaments.
