Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, revealed the nature of Luka Modric's injury, which he suffered in the Cadiz match in the Spanish League.

Modric participated mainly in the match, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the Royal Club, and assisted Rodrigo's first goal, but he left the field in the 70th minute injured.

Ancelotti spoke about the Croatian's injury, saying, "He suffers from muscle overload," and AS newspaper confirmed that this injury is not serious and will not keep him away from the field much.

At the same time, Ancelotti confirmed that Kepa will return in the next match against Granada and will participate mainly, even despite the brilliance of substitute goalkeeper Andrey Lunin in recent matches.

The Italian continued his speech, "Lunin worked very well, and the most important thing is that he was ready when we needed him. Kepa will return in the Granada match. If he is fine, he will participate as a starter."

When asked about the many injured people on Real Madrid’s roster and the current difficult period, he replied, “Sometimes difficulties are an important motivator, and our players are well aware of that. It is true that we have lost important players, but we have dealt with that well so far.”

He concluded, speaking about the reason for replacing Rodrigo, "I wanted to give him a rest. His trip was long, and Brahim Diaz was not with us due to intestinal pain. I am really lucky that things went well."

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid's victory temporarily put it at the top of the Spanish League until Girona plays its match against Athletic Bilbao on Monday, and in the event of a draw or loss, the Royal Club will remain in first place.
