Ancelotti: We performed poorly against Mallorca despite the win

Ancelotti testified as the camera came upon him

Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid's coach, considered that his team's performance against Real Mallorca was not as hoped, but at the same time he expressed his happiness at achieving the three points.

The Royal Club won 1-0 thanks to Antonio Rudiger's header, his second goal for Real Madrid in 51 matches in all tournaments.

Ancelotti spoke to the media after the match, saying, "We did not perform at our best today. We were not fresh enough and lacked accuracy."

He also added, "Rudiger is now performing at his best level. I am happy for him. I expected him to score this goal."

He continued, "In the current period, we have scored many goals from set pieces, which is important for us as a technical staff."

As for Jude Bellingham, he said, “You should not be surprised that he is not scoring goals now. This is not his primary job with us.”

He concluded, responding to Arda Guler's non-participation despite his readiness, "He is fine, calm, and very happy to be back. He is only eighteen years old and we wanted to make him calm. He is our present and our future. We all have to be patient. Over time, he will get minutes."

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid's victory over Mallorca kept it at the top of the Spanish League standings equally with Girona after the latter's victory over Atletico Madrid 4-3 in an exciting match held on Wednesday evening.
