Ronald Araujo, the Barcelona player, confirmed that he does not intend to leave the Catalan club in the coming period of his career, expressing how happy he is to wear the Catalan club shirt and his desire to achieve major goals for the Blaugrana fans.

Araujo's statements came a few days after news was published in German newspapers about Bayern Munich's interest in contracting with the Uruguayan defender, and some other reports indicated that the player would welcome joining the Bavarian club.

Araujo commented on his future with Barcelona in press statements, saying, “It is a very exceptional thing for me to be in Barcelona.”

He also added, "It is very special to have the opportunity to be captain of the team. I am proud of that and feel responsible."

He concluded, "We have big goals. We are ready to face the challenges and achieve everything we want."

Araujo had worn Barcelona's captaincy during the match against Porto in the Champions League for the first time in his career with the Catalan club.

The newspaper "Sport" reported that the player does not intend to leave Barcelona, while the Blaugrana management does not intend to negotiate with him, no matter how tempting the proposed offers are.

It remains to be noted that the 22-year-old's contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2026, and it is said that negotiations between the player and the club will begin soon to sign another long-term contract with a clause of up to one billion euros.
