Barcelona survived another La Liga stumble, having managed to win by an unanswered goal against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta Stadium on matchday 12.
The Catalan club went into the game a week after losing the Clásico at the hands of Real Madrid, putting a lot of pressure on Xavi Hernandez's men to win against Sociedad.
From the very first moments, Sociedad came close to surprising Barça with the first goal had it not been for Ter Stegen, and overall Barça performed very mediocre in the first half.
Things improved somewhat in the second half and Barcelona's move on goal increased, until the 93rd minute came and Ronaldo Araujo scored the precious winner.
Barcelona's tally rose to 27 points, one point behind Real Madrid before the club played its match against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, and 4 points behind interim leaders Girona.
