Barcelona apologise for calling Vinicius a "clown". And a strong reaction from Perez

Rafa Yuste, vice-president of Barcelona, sent his and his club's apology to Vinicius Jr. for the statements of the deputy spokesman for the "Blaugrana" in which he called the Real Madrid player a "clown".

Mikel Campos tweeted on his official X account that Vinicius was a "clown who deserves a slap" and that what he suffers from the crowd's chants against him deserves it completely and not with racism, after the events of the Sporting Braga match on Tuesday.

After the match between Barcelona and Shakhtar Yuste spoke to the media apologizing to Vinicius, saying: "It should not have happened, it's a bad tweet, if you hear me Vinicius, it won't happen again."

Although Campos quickly deleted the tweet, after which the vice-president of Barcelona apologised, Real Madrid are "outraged" that such behaviour would come from a Barcelona official.

According to reports from the newspaper "Marca", the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, decided not to travel to Barcelona to attend the Clasico, as a reaction from him and a clear message to Barcelona about the anger of the Royal Club of what happened.

Perez's presence was important for a meeting with Joan Laporta is the first between them since the outbreak of the crisis between Real and Barcelona as a result of the bribery case of former vice-president of the referees committee Jose Luis Negrera, especially with the reported return of the dinner between the presidents of the two clubs after it was canceled in the last two Clasico matches.
