Barcelona players celebrate their victory over Real Madrid with a landslide result

Barcelona women beat Real Madrid 5-0 in the match between them at the Luis Combanes Olympic Stadium in the Spanish Women's League.

Barcelona's women's team is one of the most successful teams in all sports and is among the strongest clubs in Europe, while Real Madrid does not have a long history in women's football, as evidenced by the results of the Clásico clash with rivals.

Barcelona's quintet is the twelfth consecutive victory for Barca women over Real Madrid women, and the women of the capital club have not succeeded in achieving any victory or even a draw with the Blaugrana women so far.

The Catalans' women's goals came through Aitana Bonami, Caroline Graham, Mariona Caldente, Claudia Pena and Vika Lopez.

The win lifted Barcelona's points tally to 27 at the top of the La Liga standings after winning all nine games of the competition so far.

The defeat was Real Madrid's second of the season, and Los Blancos were halted at 21 points in second place.
