Bayern Munich is close to losing its star, and Real Madrid is the closest destination

Alphonso Davies, Bayern Munich star

Bild newspaper reported that renewal negotiations between Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich are currently stalled, due to the high financial demands of the left-back.

The Canadian international's contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2025, amid great interest from Real Madrid in signing him next summer.

According to the German newspaper's report, Davies demanded the highest salary in the Bavarian club's salary scale, which is 15 million euros annually, while Christian Freund's management offer stopped at only 12 million euros.

So far, the file has not been closed despite the failure to reach an agreement, but most likely, Bayern does not want to pay this huge salary to its full-back, which makes Davies’ departure next summer the most likely option instead of losing him for free in the summer of 2025.

Real Madrid is awaiting the situation, and the salary will not be an obstacle in reaching an agreement with the player, whose agent previously expressed his great happiness with the interest of the Royal Club in particular in contracting with his client.

Spanish newspaper reports indicated that Real Madrid was preparing to make an official offer to Bayern Munich next summer to sign a contract with the 23-year-old for between 30 and 40 million euros.
