Bellingham wins the best young player 2023 award

Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid player, won the “Raymond Kopa” award for the best young player in the world presented by the French magazine France Football.

The English international outperformed many other young stars, led by Pedri and Javi from Barcelona, and Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich, thanks to the amazing performance he presented with Borussia Dortmund and then Real Madrid during the past few months.

Eden Hazard, who announced his retirement in recent days, was the one who presented the award to Bellingham at the “Duchate Theater” in the French capital, Paris.

Bellingham played 42 matches with Dortmund in all tournaments last season, and succeeded in scoring 14 goals in addition to making 7 other goals.

The 20-year-old's brilliance with Dortmund was convincing enough for Real Madrid to pay 100 million euros to acquire him, and after a few months he became the most important player ever in coach Carlo Ancelotti's squad.

It is noteworthy that Bellingham scored 13 goals in all tournaments this season and provided two assists. He also wrote his name in the pages of El Clásico history by scoring two goals in his first participation in the Spanish League summit.
