Boredom or despair? Barcelona fans disappoint in the Almeria match!

The match between Barcelona and Almeria witnessed a negative number for the Catalan club, but this time not for its players or coach Xavi Hernandez, but for its fans.

The match was held at Barcelona's stronghold this season, the Luis Companis Olympic Stadium, and it was expected that the Blaugrana would enjoy great public support, as usual.

However, in reality, the Almeria match recorded the lowest crowd attendance this season for Barcelona at its stadium, 34,471 spectators, out of more than 55,000 seats available in the stadium known as Montjuïc.

Perhaps Barcelona's recent disappointing results were a reason for the fans' reluctance to support the team from the stadium against Almeria.

Before the Almeria match, Barcelona lost to Girona in the same stadium last round in La Liga, then tied with Valencia, and in between they lost to Antwerp in the Champions League.

The strange thing is that despite the weak crowd attendance, Sergi Roberto complained about the Barça players being subjected to booing due to their performance during the Almeria match, which illustrates the extent of the public discontent towards the players and the team in the recent period.

Montjuïc Stadium had witnessed the ideal crowd attendance for Barcelona in the last El Clásico, before which things were going very well for the Catalan club.

Xavi Hernandez's squad may have succeeded in reconciling its fans, even partially, with this victory, which temporarily reduced the gap with La Liga leaders Girona to 6 points.
