The "Relivo" network reported that Real Madrid's management is considering renewing coach Carlo Ancelotti's contract for another two years.

Most press reports indicated that this season would be Ancelotti's last with Real Madrid, and he would move starting next June to coach the Brazilian national team.

But the surprise is that President Florentino Perez is impressed with what Ancelotti is offering with the Royal Club, and is considering the idea of giving him a renewal offer, but he has not yet settled on the terms of the new contract.

The basic idea is for the Italian coach to remain in his position for two years, but the difference is whether the new contract will be for one year with the option to extend for another year, or two years at once.

It is not expected that Ancelotti will object to the idea of continuing with Real Madrid, regardless of the terms of the new contract, as he has confirmed on more than one occasion that he would like to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until the end of his career.

Since the dismissal of coach Tite at the end of the 2022 World Cup, the Brazilian national team has not appointed a permanent coach, and the ideas of the Brazilian Federation management were to wait for Ancelotti to end his contract with Real Madrid, and then contract with him as he is the ideal choice to lead this generation in the Seleção.

At the same time, many names have been put forward in recent months to succeed Ancelotti as coach of Real Madrid, led by Xabi Alonso after his great success with Bayer Leverkusen this season.

The 64-year-old Ancelotti took over as coach of the Merengues in the summer of 2021, succeeding Zinedine Zidane, and succeeded in leading Real Madrid to win the Spanish League, the Champions League, Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup, the European Super Cup, and the Club World Cup within two and a half years.

This was the Italian coach's second term in the Spanish capital. His first term was between 2013 and 2015, when he succeeded in achieving Real Madrid's most expensive tournament, the 10th, the 2013-2014 Champions League.
