Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen player

Florian Wirtz's father and his agent confirmed that all indications point to his son remaining with Bayer Leverkusen next season, despite all the interest he is receiving from the world's top clubs.

Wirtz's name has been linked to joining Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City, and Bayern Munich stands out as the closest destination for the young German star given his desire to be at Allianz Arena.

Hans-Joachim Wirtz spoke to Sky about his son's future, saying, "Everything now goes towards Wirtz continuing at Leverkusen next season."

From what his father said, it can be seen that Wirtz is planning to leave the BayArena in the summer of 2025, specifically when Bayern Munich will be able to conclude a deal of this size, especially since the expected price for the 20-year-old will exceed 100 million euros.

Since Wirtz was promoted to the first team in Leverkusen, he has become one of the most important players for the German club ever, even though he was absent for nearly a year after suffering a cruciate ligament tear, and yet he came back stronger than before.

During this season, Wirtz played 19 matches with coach Xabi Alonso's squad in all tournaments, and succeeded in scoring 6 goals and assisting 10 others.

The note remains that, despite Wirtz's young age, he played a total of 122 matches with the first team for Leverkusen. He also represented the first German national team in 14 matches, and participated for the first time with the German German Football Association when he was eighteen years old.
