The draw for the round of 16 for the Champions League was held on Monday evening, December 18, 2023, at UEFA headquarters in the Swiss city of Nyon.
The draw was favorable to Paris Saint-Germain, despite finishing in second place in the groups, where it will face Real Sociedad.
Manchester City, the holder of the last edition's title, will meet Copenhagen, while Barcelona was drawn by the draw with Napoli, in a repeat of what happened in 2020.
Arsenal will play against Porto, Atletico Madrid will play against Inter, Borussia Dortmund will play against Eindhoven, while Real Madrid will face Leipzig in Germany, and Bayern Munich will play with Lazio.
The first leg of the Champions League round of 16 will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 13-14, 2024, and February 20-21.
As for the decisive return matches, they will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 5-6, and March 12-13.
After the finalists are decided, the final draw for the Champions League will be held, which will determine the quarter-finals and semi-final matches.
