Endrik joins the list of the most important Brazilian legends throughout history

Endrik, a Palmeiras player, played for the first time with the Brazilian national team during the match against Colombia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which is a historic participation by all standards for the future Real Madrid player.

Endrik was not lucky in his first participation with Brazil, as circumstances forced him to come on as a substitute for Rafinha, and his country was in a difficult situation, when they trailed 2-1 against Colombia at the latter’s stadium, and he did not succeed in scoring or bringing the Seleção back into the match.

When he took to the field, Endrek was 17 years and 118 days old, making him the fourth-youngest player in the history of the Brazilian national team.

The youngest ever to play for the Samba country was Pele, aged 16 years and 257 days in 1957, followed by Edu, aged 16 years and 303 days, in 1966, and Coutinho, aged 17 years, 28 days, in 1960.

Endrick surpassed a number of Brazilian legends with this number, most notably Ronaldo Nazario, who made his first appearance with his country at the age of 17 years and 183 days in 1994.

The young player's amazing performances with Palmeiras were the reason for his rapid involvement with the first team, where he played 49 matches in all tournaments this year, during which he succeeded in scoring 12 goals and assisting another goal.

Real Madrid paid 37.5 million euros to sign Endrik, with the condition that he arrive at the Santiago Bernabéu by the summer of 2024, when he reaches his eighteenth year, so that his participation with the Spanish team becomes legal.
