FIFA revives Real Madrid's coffers with a huge amount thanks to Vinicius and Camavinga

FIFA will compensate Real Madrid with an amount of approximately one million euros for the absence of the duo Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga due to injury with Brazil and France in the last international break.

Vinicius is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday against Real Mallorca, while Camavinga is expected to be ready again either in the Copa del Rey match next week, or when facing Atletico Madrid on January 10 in the Super Cup semi-final.

FIFA rules stipulate that compensation be paid to clubs whose players suffer injuries with their country's national teams and keep them away from the field for more than 28 days.

The compensation depends on the player's base salary, and thus, Real Madrid is supposed to receive more than 400,000 euros in compensation from FIFA for Vinicius Junior 's injury alone.

Camavinga's compensation will be similar or slightly greater, as he was injured before the Brazilian and returned after him, so the total amount will be approximately one million euros.

This amount represents a "recovery" for Real Madrid's coffers, which has been struggling to meet the complex financial fair play rules imposed by the Spanish League in the last five years.
