The Italian newspaper Tuttosport announced that Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham won the 2023 Golden Boy award.

This award has been presented by the Italian newspaper since 2003, and is given to the best young player in the world under 21 years of age.

What the English international did, whether with Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid, secured him the award, which he became the third Englishman to win after Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling.

Last month, Bellingham won the “Copa Raymond” award for the best young player in the world, presented by France Football magazine during the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

As for Lamine Yamal, a Barcelona talent and one of the most prominent young people in the world, he also had a share in the Golden Boy award, after he received a mini-award of it, which is the Youngest Young Talent Award, which is designated to reward the youngest player ever to climb to the Golden Boy podium.

The man of Moroccan origins succeeded in becoming one of Barcelona's most important players even though he was only sixteen years old. He also represented the Spanish national team in 3 international matches, during which he scored two goals.

Also, Erling Haaland won the Golden Player Award, voted by the Tuttosport Legends Council.

It seems logical for the Manchester City star to win the award after he led his team to achieve the historic treble, and also scored 52 goals in all tournaments.

Haaland lost the Ballon d'Or award to Lionel Messi after finishing second in the total number of points, but now the Norwegian surpasses the flea in a prestigious award presented by one of the world's largest newspapers.
