Marca: Bellingham won the Golden Boy award

The newspaper "Marca" reported that Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid player, has received the majority of the votes of journalists and won the Golden Boy award from the magazine "France Football" for the year 2023.

The England star competes with a number of other international talents such as Gavi, Pedri and Lamine Yamal from Barcelona, Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich, but the balance is clearly tilted in favor of Real Madrid's top scorer.

This isn't the first time Bellingham has competed for the Golden Boy award, as he was also in last year's competition, but he finished third behind Gavi's first, Real Madrid team-mate and runners-up, Eduardo Camavinga.

Bellingham will once again make Real Madrid history, becoming the first player in the club's history to win the title.

Bellingham over the past year has been very influential with Borussia Dortmund, before joining Real Madrid in the summer for €100 million, becoming Carlo Ancelotti's top scorer, most recently two goals in the Clásico against Barcelona.
