The French international wrote, "Happy New Year to everyone. I wish health, happiness and success to you and your loved ones. The year 2024 will be important."
The newspapers then began to talk about his saying that the new year would be important, linking it to his future, which was supposed to be decided in the next few months.
Mbappe's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of this season, and with the start of 2024 he is free to sign for any club amid very great interest from Real Madrid.
