Mohamed Salah celebrates after scoring two goals

Mohamed Salah continued his historic figures, scoring twice as he led Liverpool to a 3-0 win over Brentford on matchday 12 of the Premier League.

Salah took the lead for the Reds in the 39th and 62nd minutes, while Jurgen Klopp's men hird goal came through Diogo Jota in the 74th minute.

Holding the match at Anfield was particularly valuable for Salah after his two goals, as he became the first player in history to score in Liverpool's first six home games in the Premier League this season.

The Egypt international also became the third player in Premier League history to score or assist in 15 consecutive home games.

Salah, on the other hand, overtook Erling Haaland and became the most involved player in Premier league goals this season both in scoring and assists (10 goals and 4 assists).

But the Norwegian international has the advantage in terms of the number of goals, as he scored 11 goals for Manchester City and is the top scorer in the Premier League by one goal from Salah.

It remains to be noted that Liverpool's victory over Brentford made him equal with Arsenal and Manchester City (until Guardiola's men plays against Chelsea) with 27 points at the top of the Premier League standings.
