Musiala ignites war between Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City, Bayern Munich moves

According to the newspaper "Bild" German that Manchester City put Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich player, as an important target for them in the next summer transfer market, at the desire of coach Pep Guardiola.

Musiala's current contract with the Bavarian giants extends until the summer of 2026, and renewal negotiations between the two parties have not yet begun, amid anticipation from most of Europe's top continent.

Manchester City are "very interested" in Musiala, with Guardiola believing he is the missing piece in their midfield, and could also serve as a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who is expected to leave at the end of the season.

City hope the status quo between Musiala and Bayern will continue, meaning there are no renewal negotiations, after which officials believe they can convince the player to move to the Etihad Stadium next summer.

But there are a number of other big clubs interested in signing the German international, led by Liverpool, who are watching the player's position with Bayern evolve in anticipation of a pounce on him as well.

Real Madrid are also pictured as a potential destination for Musiala, while Bild confirms that Bayern Munich will do their best to convince the 20-year-old to renew his contract in the next few months.

Musiala has two goals in front of his eyes, the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or, and in the event that he sees that he will not succeed in achieving them at Bayern Munich, his decision will be to leave whatever the surrounding circumstances.

It remains to be noted that Musiala, despite his young age, played 135 games for Bayern Munich in all competitions and scored 33 goals with assists for 26 others, and also represented Germany's senior team in Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup, scoring two goals in 25 international matches.
