Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has begun looking for a home in Brazil in preparation for taking charge of the Seleção next year.

Ancelotti's contract with the Royal Club expires at the end of this season, amid great interest from the Brazilian national team that has appeared since last year.

According to the “El Chiringuito” program, Ancelotti was looking for a house in Brazil, and was impressed by one of the houses owned by Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.

This means that the Italian coach's trip to the Santiago Bernabeu will end at the end of his contract, despite reports that Florentino Perez's management is considering extending his stay in the Spanish capital for another year at the very least.

The Brazilian national team has been suffering a lot since the dismissal of Tite and the failure to appoint a permanent coach. Despite this, the Brazilian Federation is determined to be patient until the summer of 2024 to appoint Ancelotti, even in light of the decline in results, which is evident in achieving 7 points after 6 rounds in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the name of Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has emerged as a possible option to succeed Ancelotti at Real Madrid, according to Sport.

Scaloni sparked controversy after Argentina's victory over Brazil by saying that the national team needed a new coach full of energy and passion, and newspapers also revealed sharp disagreements between him and the president of the Argentine Federation in the past months.

Scaloni joins a list that includes the duo Xabi Alonso, coach of Bayer Leverkusen, and Roberto De Zerbe, coach of Brighton, as the most prominent names nominated at the Real Madrid management table to succeed Ancelotti.
