Real Madrid thrashed Valencia 5-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu on matchday 13 of La Liga.
The club missed for the second consecutive match their first star, Jude Bellingham, due to a dislocated shoulder, raising concerns about the team's scoring ability, especially as he alone has scored 13 goals so far.
But Real Madrid did not suffer crises against the bats, with Dani Carvajal opening the scoring in the third minute, then Vinicius Jr. scoring twice in the 42nd and 49th minutes.
Rodrigo also had a share in the match by scoring the fourth and fifth goals in the 50th and 84th minutes, while Valencia's only goal came through Hugo Duro in the 88th minute.
Unfortunately for Real Madrid, Girona won this round against Rayo Vallecano by two goals to one, and will remain top of the table throughout the international break.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti's men reached 32 points, two points behind Girona, and 4 points from Barcelona until the Catalan club played its match in this round against Deportivo Alaves.
