Faiza El Amari, Kylian Mbappe's mother, has revealed her son's favorite team during childhood, which surprisingly was not Real Madrid or his current club Paris Saint-Germain.
During an interview with the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Amari stressed that Mbappe was so attached to Milan that he was his constant conversation at home.
"He was immersed in cheering for Milan as a child, and when he came home he was only talking about Milan, if Milan lost he would throw the remote control on the TV and say some bad words in Italian," said the mother of the current PSG star.
Mbappe will face his childhood favourite team for the first time, when Paris Saint-Germain host Milan at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday in the third round of the group stage of the 2023-24 Champions League.
If Milan are Mbappe's favourite team in terms of cheerleading, Nicolas Riccardi, a friend and relative of the French star, claimed that Real Madrid was the 24-year-old's favorite team in the "PlayStation".
Mbappe's contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until next summer, and so far he has not renewed his contract amid much talk that Real Madrid are in the process of securing the services of the 2018 world champions for free next year.
