Barcelona President Joan Laporta announces the inclusion of Roque

Club Atlético Paranaense has announced that Vitor Roque will join Barcelona in the upcoming winter transfer window instead of next summer.

Barcelona agreed with the Brazilian club a long time ago to include the 18-year-old, and due to the stifling financial crisis, the player was supposed to join the Blaugrana next summer.

But after Javi's injury, Barcelona was able to include another player on its list instead of him, far from the rules of financial fair play, and Joan Laporta's management decided to take advantage of this by rushing to include Roque.

According to Atletico Paranaense announced, the next Santos match will be Roque's last with the team, after which he will travel to Spain and officially complete his transfer procedures to Barcelona.

Barcelona paid the Brazilian club 40 million euros as a fixed amount. There will be a financial sum of 21 million euros in rewards related to what Roque will provide with Barcelona and his winning titles and the Ballon d'Or, in addition to 13 million euros in taxes and fees, bringing the total value of the young man's inclusion to 74 million euros.

The young Brazilian signed a contract that will keep him at Camp Nou until 2029, with a release clause of one billion euros to protect him from attempts by other clubs to include him.

It is noteworthy that Roque played 44 matches this season with Atletico Barnense in all tournaments, during which he succeeded in scoring 21 goals and assisting 8 others. He also played one international match last March for the Brazilian national team while he is still only eighteen years old.
