Official... Barcelona succeeds in registering Roque

Barcelona's roster for the match against Real Mallorca in the Spanish League, the latest winter assignment, included Vitor Roque.

According to Cadena Cop, the Spanish League finally approved Roque's registration, and the Brazilian's participation was confirmed on Thursday.

Xavi Hernandez announced in the press conference on Wednesday that Roque has great chances of participating in the Mallorca match, provided that the Barcelona administration succeeds in registering him.

After intense efforts in the past hours, the Barcelona administration succeeded in registering 18-year-old Roque as a replacement for the injured Gavi, but as a loaned player until the end of the current season.

The obstacles were that Barcelona did not receive 40 million euros from the sale of Barsa Studios shares to the German Libero Fund, and with it there was no margin for adding a new player due to the rules of financial fair play.

Had it not been for Javi's injury, the Blaugrana would not have succeeded in putting Roque on its roster this winter, and Laporta's management would have been forced to wait until next summer.

Now Roque's participation is confirmed in the Mallorca match, after which he can be relied upon in the King's Cup and the Super Cup as well.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona enters the match against Mallorca without a number of its players due to injury, including Gavi, Pedri, Ter Stegen, and Iñago Martinez.
