Kylian Mbappe with the President of France after losing the World Cup final

The Paris Saint-Germain administration contacted the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, so that he could intervene himself to persuade Kylian Mbappé to renew his contract at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Mbappe's contract expires in the summer of 2024, and he has the right to sign for free wherever he wants next January, and the name Real Madrid has emerged as the closest destination to him currently, with the Spanish club preparing to make a generous offer with the start of the new year.

But according to the newspaper "Defense Central", PSG did not give up trying to keep Mbappe, and resorted to Macron to intervene for the second time in order to convince the French player to continue with the team.

Macron had directly intervened in the negotiations in 2022, and according to Mbappe’s announcement, he played a major role in convincing him to renew his contract at that time for two years, after explaining to him the impact of his continuation in the French League on French football.

Now, Macron is working again to persuade Mbappe to renew a new renewal, but this time he is using a different weapon, which is talking about the player’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics and what great personal glory this could represent for the 24-year-old.

Mbappe's position is still ambiguous and he has not made a final decision regarding his future, but with Macron's intervention, things may turn in favor of Paris Saint-Germain, relatively speaking.

It is noteworthy that the Spanish newspapers confirmed that the Real Madrid administration will offer Mbappe a renewal for a period of 15 days only, and in the event that the answer is not approved or rejected, or any attempts to procrastinate appear, the offer will be withdrawn immediately.
