Just participating in the group stage brought in 15.6 million euros, while winning each of the six matches brought 2.8 million euros, for a total of 16.8 million euros.
As for qualifying for the round of 16, Real Madrid received 9.6 million euros, bringing the total reward to 42 million euros.
This amount is greater than any other amount in the competition, and only Manchester City can achieve similar profits provided that it wins against Red Star in Wednesday’s match at the end of the group stage.
Real Madrid achieved the perfect score in the groups for the third time in its history, equaling the record set by Bayern Munich.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the round of 16 of the Champions League will be held on December 18, with the matches being played in mid-February 2024.
