Real Madrid beat Barcelona in El Clásico thanks to Bellingham's brace

Real Madrid snatched a hard-fought victory from Barcelona in the final moments, to emerge victorious from the Olympic Luis Combanes Stadium with a 2-1 victory, in the Clasico, which was held in the eleventh round of the Spanish league competition.

Although it was Ilkay Gundogan who opened the scoring for the Catalan club in the sixth minute, and while it was all going towards a positive result for Barcelona, Jude Bellingham came out of nowhere to bring Carlo Ancelotti's battalion back into the game and take it off with three points.

The England international started in the 68th minute, then scored perhaps the most expensive goal of his career in the second minute of injury time, and with it the announcement that Real Madrid won the Clásico for the second time in a row in Barcelona.

The 20-year-old Bellingham's brace has taken his tally to 13 goals in 13 games in all competitions, and he is currently the top scorer in the La Liga standings, along with providing 3 assists to his team-mates at the Royal Club.

The win lifted Real Madrid's tally to 28 points at the top of the La Liga standings, while Barcelona froze their tally at 24 points in third place.
