Rodrigo celebrates scoring the second goal for Real Madrid against Granada

Real Madrid did not find it difficult to achieve an important victory over its guest, Granada, with a score of 2-0, in the match that was held at the Santiago Bernabeu for the 15th round of the Spanish League.

The lead goal for Real Madrid came from Brahim Diaz in the 28th minute from a magic pass from Toni Kroos, before Rodrigo scored the second goal in the 57th minute.

The victory was necessary for coach Carlo Ancelotti's squad after Girona succeeded in defeating Valencia 2-1, temporarily reaching the top of the Spanish League standings.

But Real Madrid's victory put it back in the lead after reaching point 38, equal to Girona, but with a goal difference advantage for the Royal Club.

Atletico Madrid is scheduled to meet Barcelona on Sunday, and a loss for either of them will raise the difference between it and Real Madrid to 7 points, as the Madrid club and the Catalan club are equal with 31 points each in third place.

Real Madrid awaits a difficult upcoming match at the Benito Villamarín Stadium when it meets Real Betis, who is in seventh place.
