Ancelotti sets his priorities in summer deals

Marca reported that Real Madrid had decided to negotiate with Chelsea to buy Kepa permanently next summer.

The Spanish goalkeeper joined the Royal Club in the summer of 2023 on loan after Thibaut Courtois suffered a cruciate ligament tear.

Kepa became the main goalkeeper for Real Madrid until he suffered an injury in early November, and then Andriy Lunin participated in his place, but Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the Blues goalkeeper, once he returns, will return to his position again.

According to "Marca", Florentino Perez's management is very satisfied with what Kepa has presented, and views him as an ideal choice next season as second goalkeeper behind Thibaut Courtois upon his return to the field.

It is not expected that Chelsea will mind selling its former goalkeeper, who has completely fallen out of Mauricio Pochettino's accounts, nor is it expected that it will cost the Merengue coffers much in light of the Blues' desire to get rid of his high salary.

But at the same time, Kepa's continuation means that Andriy Lunin will leave Real Madrid at the end of his contract next summer.

Lunin's wife had previously indicated that her wife was looking for a club where he would be guaranteed a starting role after 3 years of being confined to the bench at the Santiago Bernabeu.
