Real Madrid supports Barcelona in Gavi's plight

Real Madrid will support its rival Barcelona in the injury of its young star, Gavi, in a special way and by decision of the president of the Royal Club, Florentino Perez.

Gavi will be away from the field for more than 8 months after suffering a serious injury in the match between Spain and Georgia, which caused the cruciate ligament in the knee to be severed.

According to the newspaper "Marca", Real Madrid will send an official letter signed by President Perez to the Barcelona administration, to support the Catalan club in its ordeal, and to wish Gavi a speedy recovery.

In general, this step is not new to the Merengue management, as Perez is keen to send messages of support to all Spanish League clubs when their players are exposed to such a serious type of injury.

But what is good about sending support to Gavi is the fact that the relationship between the Real Madrid administration and Barcelona is very bad in the past months due to the capital club’s entry as an party in the case against Barcelona’s bribery of the former vice-president of the Spanish Referees Committee, Jose Luis Negreira.

This case, and then an attack by a Barcelona official on Vinicius and calling him a clown, caused Florentino Pérez to refrain from attending El Clasico at the Luis Companis Olympic Stadium, and to miss the third match in a row due to poor relations with the Barcelona administration.

It remains to be noted that the Real Madrid administration is not only the only part of the club that supported Gavi, but also many of the Merengue players, led by Dani Carvajal, who wrote on Twitter, “We compete and come together, but above all we are human beings. You will come back stronger, my friend. All the best to you, Gavi.”.
