Real Madrid to allocate historical salary to Kylian Mbappe next season

The summer of 2024 could be Kylian Mbappe's last chance to join Real Madrid, and to that end the club put an historical salary to try to attract the player back to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Real have been trying since 2017 to sign Mbappe, but the player joined Paris Saint-Germain and then surprised everyone in the summer of 2022 by extending his contract at the Parc des Princes, despite what was said to be very close to moving to the Spanish club at the time.

Mbappe's contract with his French club expires at the end of this season, and he can sign wherever he wants from next January.

According to Real Madrid's El Chiringuito programme, Florentino Perez told those close to him that if Mbappe did not join this summer, the club's door would be closed to him forever.

At the same time, Real Madrid will offer the France international a salary of €35 million, making him the highest paid in the club and La Liga.

Salary won't be the only big figure Mbappe will make from his move to Real, he will receive a whopping transfer bonus of up to €30m.

Paris Saint-Germain are also working to renew Mbappe's contract again, and some English newspapers point to interest from Liverpool to sign him, although this is difficult due to the astronomical player's salary.
