Reassuring news for Barcelona about the future of Ronald Araujo

The German "Sky Sports" network confirmed that Ronald Araujo's contract with Barcelona does not contain a release clause as previously claimed, which gives the Catalan club an advantage in the negotiations as well as in the possibility of keeping its most important defender.

Araujo is receiving great attention from Bayern Munich, which is ready to pay more than 70 million euros to persuade Barcelona to abandon Araujo in the current winter Mercato.

According to the latest report, the information about the existence of a penalty clause ranging from 80 to 100 million euros is false.

On this basis, Bayern Munich's management will have to negotiate with its counterpart in Barcelona to persuade it to sell Araujo, although the task is close to impossible this winter, even if Bayern is prepared to increase its offer to more than 80 million euros.

Despite the difficulty of the expected negotiations with Barcelona for Araujo, regardless of their timing, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel and sporting director Christopher Freund have great determination to include the Uruguayan defender next summer.

Araujo is viewed within the Allianz Arena itself towards Harry Kane, as a deal that will secure the defenses for many years and will bring exceptional quality, so Bayern Munich will not despair in attempts to include the player.

It is noteworthy that Araujo's contract with Barcelona still extends until the summer of 2026, and Joan Laporta, president of the Blaugrana, confirmed that there are negotiations in the coming period to renew his contract and ensure his continuation for the longest possible period in Catalonia.
