Results of a "revolutionary" meeting between Xavi and Barcelona players revealed

Xavi Hernández decided to meet with the Barcelona players after losing to Shakhtar in the Champions League 1-0, a meeting that Spanish newspaper AS described as very "revolutionary".

The last two weeks have seen Barcelona have had negative results, starting with a 2-1 defeat in El Clásico to Real Madrid, a hard-fought 1-0 win over Real Sociedad and finally a 1-0 defeat by Shakhtar.

Xavi wanted all the Catalan players to say their point of view of what was happening clearly and transparently, and the dialogue was led by the duo of Ter Stegen and Ronald Araujo, and Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gundogan also spoke.

The meeting, despite the anger it was painted with, was very positive, and it was a good way for Xavi to reunite the team again.

The meeting concluded that this bad phase should end as soon as possible, and that despite the negative results, everything is still in the hands of Barcelona locally and in Europe.

Everyone knows that the negative performance in the last week should not happen again, after which the team will be back on track.

Barcelona ahead of the next international break will meet Deportivo Alavés on Sunday, and Xavi called on his players to respond and win with a big result and a convincing performance.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona occupies third place in the Spanish league standings, a point behind Real Madrid second and 4 points from Girona first, and also leads his group in the Champions League equally with Porto with 9 points each, and Shakhtar comes in third place with 6 points.
