Revealing Real Madrid's options to replace Alaba

The Real Madrid administration has put a number of options on its table in order to compensate for David Alaba, who will be absent until the end of the current season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the Villarreal match on Sunday.

Real Madrid now only has Antonio Rudiger and Nacho in the centre-back position, making it necessary for the Royal Club to include at least one player in the winter Mercato to fill the deficit.

The current emergency plan, according to Carlo Ancelotti's announcement, is to rely on Aurélien Tchouaméni, the midfielder, as a center back.

AS newspaper reported that there are four players, one of whom the Real management will seek to sign next winter: Gonzalo Inacio, defender of Sporting Lisbon, Antonio Silva, defender of Benfica, Willian Pacho, defender of Eintracht Frankfurt, and Giorgio Scalvini, defender of Atalanta.

Antonio Silva is the management's preferred option, but his very high price prevents him from being included at least in January, so Benfica is asking for more than 80 million euros to give him up.

There is another option that the management is considering by returning loaned centre-back Rafa Marin from his loan to Alaves, with one or more players from the Castilla team stepping up to fill the void until the end of the season.

At the same time, the name of Lille defender Leny Yoro emerges as a possible option, especially since the impressions about him are all positive, and his value will range between 50 to 60 million euros.

It is assumed that Real Madrid's management will make its decision and move towards one of the previous names during the next few days, so that the team can participate in the Super Cup on January 10, with full ranks in the center of defence, specifically.
