Revealing the duration of Kepa's "long" absence from Real Madrid

Real Madrid will be without Kepa for a relatively long time following the injury he sustained before kick-off against Sporting Braga.

While warming up ahead of the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Spaniard felt pain in his right foot, and was ruled out, and Andre Lunin protected the club's den in the 3-0 win by Carlo Ancelotti's men.

According to the newspaper "Marca", Kepa's injury suffers from a muscle injury in the right thigh, because of which he will be away from football from two to three weeks.

This means the loaned Chelsea goalkeeper will not be part of Valencia's next clash and could miss the Cádiz game after the international break on Sunday 26 November.

Real Madrid have already signed Kepa to replace their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will not return until April.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham returned to training with Real Madrid, but his position on being in Valencia game remains unknown.

The England international suffered a shoulder dislocation during the Rayo Vallecano match, and did not feature against Braga due to this injury, but his chances of catching the Valencia game if his safety is confirmed.

Bellingham's position on the bat’s game is due to be decided by a test he will undergo in training on Friday.
