Revealing the truth about Real Madrid’s attempts to sign Icardi next January

There have been many rumors in recent days about Real Madrid's interest in signing Mauro Icardi, the Turkish Galatasaray striker, in the upcoming winter transfer period to compensate for the injuries that struck the Royal Club's attacking line.

Icardi is considered one of the most prominent strikers in the world in recent years, and during this season he was able to score 16 goals with Galatasaray in 21 matches in all tournaments, in addition to assisting 5 other goals.

The Argentine striker's agent came out a few days ago and said that he was in the Spanish capital to negotiate with Real Madrid about his client's transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Mauro Icardi is not part of Real Madrid's plans, and that the Spanish club has not opened any lines of negotiation with him in recent days, as his agent claimed.

Most likely, Real Madrid will continue with its previous decision not to sign new players in January, despite the injuries that have struck the offensive line in the recent period and are expected to have a major impact on the team in the coming months.

Real Madrid will lose the services of its star Vinicius Junior due to injury until next March. However, there is no intention to include a new player. Rather, some of the academy team players will be promoted and given the opportunity until the Brazilian returns to the field.

It is noteworthy that Icardi was previously of interest to Real Madrid when he was at Inter, but the negotiations between him and the Royal Club did not go as hoped at the time due to his many personal problems.
