Vitor Roque made his first statements after arriving in Barcelona to join the Catalan club in the winter Mercato.
Barcelona paid more than 70 million euros to sign the 18-year-old, and it was decided that he would start in January instead of next season by the decision of coach Xavi Hernandez.
Roque said in statements reported by Barcelona's official website, "It has been a dream of mine since childhood. It is not only my dream, but the entire family. They are also here to achieve their dream."
Roque set his main goals with Barcelona as learning and gaining more experience, as well as achieving championships.
The Brazilian player also added, "I always want to have the ball in my possession, but I try to learn until I reach perfection. I want to score goals too."
He continued, "I am very happy with everything that has happened in my life. It is a dream come true. I think I will try to learn from everyone here and enjoy my time."
He concluded, "I want to help Barcelona win and return to its normal position. I want to win all possible tournaments in every season."
It is noteworthy that Roque's first match for Barcelona will be against Las Palmas on January 4.
