Michael Emenalo, Director of Football in the Saudi League, announced that the Roshen League is open to including Kylian Mbappe in the coming period, and there are already ongoing talks between the two parties in recent weeks.
Mbappe's contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current season, so he has the right to negotiate and sign for any club starting next January.
The name of Real Madrid emerged as the most prominent destination for Mbappe, or a renewal for PSG, but Emenalo placed the Saudi League clubs as a possible option for the French star as well.
Emenalo said in press statements, “Talks are open with Mbappe, but we do not know what he wants to do regarding his future.”
He also added, "Our position is very clear regarding Mbappe. Players of Mbappe's value and size know full well that they are wanted in Saudi Arabia, and I personally love him and hope he is present in the Kingdom's stadiums."
He concluded, "I cannot reveal how deep the conversation was and how far it reached. But there was interest in knowing his position on coming to Saudi Arabia, and there was a club ready to welcome him."
