Spanish press reports stated that Barcelona's defeat by Girona opened the door to great anger for the Catalan club star, to the point of questioning the capabilities of Xavi Hernandez's assistant staff.

This is what was reported by the “El Chiringuito” program, which indicated that the trio, Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan, and Jules Kounde, were extremely angry about what happened in the Girona match, and they protested the way the match was handled by the technical staff.

The trio believes that Oscar Hernandez, Xavi's brother, and Sergio Allegri do not have the necessary capabilities to work in a club the size of Barcelona, and they consider that they are the reason for the recent decline in levels and the way major matches are managed.

Strangely, the program indicates that Barcelona's management shares the opinion of the team's players, specifically regarding Oscar, as Joan Laporta's entourage believes that his appointment to his position comes only because he is Xavi's brother, and not because of his technical abilities.

It remains unknown how Xavi dealt with this anger that was clearly expressed by the Catalan club's stars, especially since the matter was in front of everyone in the locker room.

Barcelona lost 4-2 to Girona, dropping to fourth place in the Spanish League standings, 7 points behind the leaders, and 5 behind second-placed Real Madrid.
