The chances of Ancelotti staying with Real Madrid are increasing because of Brazil

It seems that Carlo Ancelotti is closer to staying with Real Madrid than leaving to coach the Brazilian national team, after the Rio de Janeiro court decided to dismiss the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodriguez.

The decision to remove Rodriguez from his position came against the backdrop of the ruling of the illegality of the Brazilian Federation Board of Directors elections held last year, according to which Rodriguez is supposed to remain in his position until 2026.

As a result of the decision, the President of the Supreme Court for Sport, Justice José Perdez, will temporarily assume the position of President of the Brazilian Football Confederation and will be responsible for organizing new elections within 30 days.

In general, Brazil faces the risk of heavy sanctions from FIFA, as member associations are obligated to manage their affairs independently and without undue influence from third parties, including any government authorities.

This state of ambiguity surrounding Brazilian football would make the Samba country back down from contracting with Carlo Ancelotti, especially since the deposed president was the one who believed most in the idea and wanted to include the Italian coach.

This news comes a few days after it was reported that the Brazilian Federation has what guarantees Ancelotti's access to train the yellow team from a legal standpoint, but things will now be very different with the change of the board of directors.

It should be noted that many reports from within Spain suggested that Real Madrid management would grant Ancelotti an offer to renew his contract for two seasons after his great success in the last two years at the Santiago Bernabeu.
