Duardo Camavinga, Real Madrid player

Eduardo Camavinga, the Real Madrid player, was injured while participating in France's national team training in preparation for the matches against Gibraltar and Greece in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

A video showed the Royal Club star being subjected to violent intervention by Paris Saint-Germain player, Ousmane Dembélé, as a result of which he was taken off the field and the medical team intervened to rescue him.

The first diagnosis of the injury was that it was in the knee, but there were no precise details about it, although the initial reports exaggerated what happened.

Later, Spanish and French journalists confirmed that Camavinga is fine, that the injury is not serious, and that he would participate normally in France's national team training on Thursday.

Real Madrid fans breathed a sigh of relief at this news, as the Merengue injury list did not require the injury of a player who could be relied upon in multiple positions like Camavinga.

Real Madrid is losing a number of its stars this season due to injuries, the most recent of which are the duo Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Chouamini, along with Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and Arda Guler.

Camavinga played 17 matches this season in all tournaments, and coach Carlo Ancelotti relied on him in the left-back position on more than one occasion, in addition to his main position in midfield.

It is noteworthy that Camavinga, 21 years old, has just renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2029.
